Simon Collins founded Collins Plumbing and Gas Ltd in the Winter of July 2007. Like many Kiwi business ventures, he began as the proverbial ‘one-man-band,’ which over the years has expanded and grown to include an outstanding team of highly skilled specialists. Simon’s vision from the outset, was that Collins Plumbing & Gas would offer all services within the specialist areas of the Plumbing, Gasfitting and Heating industries. We offer our services Auckland-wide and our specialist Heating Engineer & Technician Manfred Dirr, travels around New Zealand when required.

Our tradesmen are fully licensed and registered with the Plumbers, Gasfitters and Drainlayers Board and collectively, have over 100 years of experience within the industry.

Our business team of 10 + staff continues to grow as the business expands. This team is made up of Simon Collins – Managing Director & Owner, Paul Knight – Manager, Manfred Dirr – Heating Engineer & Technician, Simone Mathyssen – Office Manager and 6 + Plumbers and/or Gasfitters.
